Army Panzer officer's beret by Wilhelm Wethekom. This is by far one of the rarest pieces
of Third Reich headgear I have handled in over 50 years of collecting surpassed only
by the Hermann Goring visor hat I once was able to examine. This extremely rare beret
features matching and neatly hand sewn flat silverwire officer's insignia. The
tam (upper body) retains its thick knap so that the circular weave is not readily
apparent. By removing the tam and holding it up to high power lighting, it become
more visible. The lappet (pigtail) at the top of the tam has been trimmed as was
common. The interior features the standard black oilcloth lining found in this
maker's berets. The maker's mark is stamped under leather sweatband. The
size "61" ( a large size) stamped on the sweatband. There is also a faintly
stamped date 1938 inside the band. Unobtainable until now. $13,500. More Photos |

Army M40 single decal combat helmet. This helmet features a decal that was "lifted" to make
it visible through the camouflage that once covered it. The shell has a light camo finish
with normal wear. The interior features the original liner which is dry but complete. The
neck apron , I believe is stamped Q64. $785. More Photos |

Army M35 single decal combat helmet. I believe this is a period "re-issue" as I cannot find
evident of a second decal. The grommets indicate a M35. The paint is a dark field gray
that began to be seen in 1940. The eagle shows heavy wear as does the paint finish. There
is a dent on the crown about 1 ½ inches long. The interior has a complete age darkened
liner. The shell is stamped SE62 with "1467" being the batch number. $799. More Photos |

Army officer's M43 cap with embroidered trapezoid insignia. This rare late war hat features
the seldom seen embroidered trapezoid. This hat has factory applied officer's crown piping
that is a thinner style. The exterior fabric is coarse and in mint un-issued condition. The
interior is off-white cotton lined and size stamped 56 - a medium size. The hat is fully
lined with a leather sweatband that has split due to folding while in storage. A fine
example of a late war army officer's M43. $1250. More Photos |

Army General Kinsel's visor hat by EREL. This stunning hat features cello crown and capband
piping. The hat's body is high quality doeskin wool. The cords are tarnished bullion. The
gilt insignia shows excellent finish. The hat's exterior shows no damage caused by mothing
or wear. The interior is typical high quality EREL construction and
indicates " Privat" grade that was EREL's highest standard. The EREL marked sweatband
shows light use. The inside of the sweatband is stamped with Kinsel's name. Under the
complete celluloid sweatshield is a size tag. There are two blackened areas on the mint
green lining that I cannot account for. This stunning and named example would make an
excellent addition to anyone's collection. $7500. More Photos |

Army general's visor hat by Erhart Burgmayer. This hat features nicely patinaed bullion
piping and gold bullion rank insignia. The bullion gold chincords are also have patination
that matches the piping and insignia. The Upper hat body is high quality doeskin wool. The
capband is a dark gray that may have been a custom order from the hat maker. The interior
of the hat features construction similar to Pekuro with a black velvet band separating
the capband from the sweatband. The lining is artificial yellow silk . The maker's name
and logo is on the fully intact rhomboid sweatshield. There are two separations in the
leather. Overall a nice example of a general's visor. $6,000. More Photos |

Army infantry officer's visor hat. This hat has a great shape. I love the way the saddle form
has settled back giving the hat a "jaunty" appearance. The hat features early insignia and
doeskin fabric. TheThe white piping is fully intact. There is no mothing. The interior
features a gold artificial silk ling. The sweat diamond is faintly marked "Sonderklasse" but
the rest has worn with time. The brown leather sweatband is intact but there is minor
separation from the capband on the left-facing side near the vulcanfiber visor which has
also slightly detached ( about a 3" area) This could be resewn but I'd leave it alone. The
hat would look great on a mannequin. $850 More Photos |

Army M35 double decal helmet. This unquestionable helmet was there judging by the wear. The
shell features the darker field gray/green smooth finish. The Army eagle has wear to the
areas of the swastika and neck. The national shield has consistent wear but the wear to
both decals gives this helmet some real character. The interior has a complete liner with
the owner's initials penned on one of the tongues. The skirt is stamped with the batch
number and ET66. $1850 More Photos |

Army M35 re-issued single decal helmet. This fine example started as a M35 as is evident by
the side grommets and the original smooth field gray interior paint on the inside where
the dome stamp is evident. The exterior finish is a typical semi-smooth field gray showing
normal wear. The single decal has better than 90% of the eagle and displays well. The
area where the national shield was has a shadow. The interior features a complete liner
with chinstrap. The helmet's skirt is stamped EF64 on the left side. $1200 More Photos |

Cavalry officer's visored cap with traditions badge. This hat features beautiful cavalry
gold-yellow piping and aluminum insignia. Above the cockade is the crowned eagle holding
a scepter and sword. This traditions badge was worn by the Regimental staff 2. and the
4. Schwadron of Kavallerie-Regiment Nr. 6. The hat's upper body has one minor moth hole
but this does not detract from the overall appearance of this rare hat. The vulcanfiber
visor shows minor crazing. The interior features a sweat diamond with a
Reichskriegerbund insignia stamped on the rayon lining. I believe this signifies the
hat was made by the war veterans association. The pressed paper sweatband has several
areas of tears and separation but is mostly complete. Rare hat. $1850. More Photos |

cockade insignia with a "tradition totenkopf". The High quality material is free of mothing
with very minor discoloration towards the back edge of the hat. The golden yellow piping
is free of any moth nips. The earlier style thin chincords are a good fit and appear to
be original to the hat. The interior is lined with off-white silk. The leather sweatband
is thinner than usually seen on officer hats but this may be attributed to the
maker. There are numerous small dark stains on the lining but nothing through the
material. The sweat diamond with the maker's name is complete. This is a great
looking hat that displays well. $1750 More Photos |

- Early Heer Gebirgjager officer's visor field hat. This hat is a very
rare and wonderful piece. Gebirgjager officers were not authorized to wear
silver piping on their hats until October '42. So what many self
respecting officer's did was they added their own. This hat features thin
twist cord piping that was fined stitched around the crown. The two silver
buttons were also added to make this a "treue" officer's hat.
The hat insignia is the early, rare white "T" and the side
Edelweiss. The distinctive Edelweiss was worn only by the mountain troops
and is sewn onto the side panel with field gray matching thread. The
interior of this hat is the standard medium gray cotton with a full
leather sweatband. The lining is marked 54 and M37. There is a metal
stiffener I believe is period sewn into the front to give the hat its
shape. This is a small hat. It is also very rare. $2000. More
