This perfect example features a central Mother’s Cross design surrounded by six iron crosses. . The dedication reads, “DURCH MUTTER UND HELDEN IST UNSER DER SIEG”, “THROUGH MOTHER AND HERO IS OUR VICTORY”. On the underside of the teller is another inscription that reads, “Juleteller Der SS 1944”. The Allach trademark Sigrunnen appears center. Presented to select individuals, this Yule teller features a high relief eagle with the dedication reading, “WIR WERDEN UNS HERUMSCHLAGEN BIS UNSERE VERFLUCHTEN FEINDE SICH ZUM FREIDEN BEQUMEN JULEFEST 1943” which translates to, “WE Have to fight our enemy until they surrender for peace.” Another inscription appears on the back of the teller that reads, “Worte Friedrichs Des Grossen An d’ Argens translating Im Jahre 1758” which translates to “The words of Friedrich the Great at D’Argens 1758” inscribed on the reverse side of the plate.. Above the scene is depicted ancient warriors on the field of battle with winged Victory hovering. The various campaigns Obergefreiter Bohm participated in with his unit are listed to the bottom right beginning with 1939: SIERADZ-BZURA- WARSCHAU up through 1942: DON-KALATSCH-STALINGRAD. Stalingrad was the epic winter struggle of 1942 that resulted in the defeat of the German 6th Army under Field Marshal v. Paulus with a loss of 600,000 men. This rare Allach figurine is identical to the white stag pictured in Dennis Porrel's "Allach Porcelain 1936 - 1945" , VOLUME 2, published by Schiffer Military History, Copyright 2010, pages 386-387. According to Dennis Porell, the Allach 1936 Manufacturer's Catalog only 93 of the white porcelain versions were made during the years 1938-1939. This piece displays multi-piece construction with the antlers being set in place separately to holes in the stag's head making the antlers removable. 1711SO3 - Near unobtainable two Red Dragon demitasse cups by Meissen removed from the Eagles Nest above Berchtesgaden by a 101st Airborne service member and given to Sergeant Harry Plisevich who participated in both the D-Day invasion and the Battle of the Bulge. Captured at Bastogne after being wounded, Sergeant Plisevich was imprisoned at Stalag 12A. . These fine china porcelain cups are in their original perfect condition. It is easy to imagine who among Adolf Hitler's inner circle actually drunk from these cups including Der Fuhrer himself. The cups are accompanied by a copied image of Sergeant Plisevich and a postcard of the Eagle's Nest that was sent to him along with the cups. $1950. More Photos |

- Collectors Connection-Rare and stunning Luftwaffe presentation bronze by German artist Schmidt-Hofer. The brass plate reads "To the Officers and officials of Luftflotten V. ( Air Fleet 5) Regiment 4, Reichenbach, 19.August 1940." Luftflotte V. was based in Denmark and Norway during the Battle of Britain. The Luftflotte was commanded by General Hans Stumpf whose command was responsible for carrying out bombing operations in Northern Britain and the North Sea during the period. This award is on a marble base that measures 5.5 x 4.0 inches. The total height is 15.5 inches. The width is 15.0 inches. The bronze eagle displays excellent detail and is signed by the artist on one of the botton arms of the swastika. The two marble bases are free of chips and cracks.
