213EW9 - Police Officer degen by Peter Daniel Krebs. This fine example features nickel silver hilt and scabbard fittings. The grip Police eagle is the copper variety. The black wood grip is nicely wire wrapped and free of chips and cracks. The “D” guard has a nice silver patina as does the pommel cap. The leather buffer is intact where the blade meets the lower crossguard. The underside of the lower crossguard stamped with the SS Kulturzeichen as is the top of the top scabbard’s throat. The blade shows some areas of minor dark spots. Overall the blade has no rust or pitting. The scabbard’ss upper and lower Nordic designs are in fine condition with excellent detail. The upper reverse of the blade shows a worn Alcoso maker’s stamp. The original leather buffer is intact where the blade meets the lower crossguard. 213SO1 - Wood carved building eagle. This oak eagle measures 57.0 x 26 x 2 inches. This superb example is in the Wehrmacht style indicating use either outside of a military building or the building's interior. The reverse side presents what appears to be the carver's initials and date. Also evidence points to old repairs made to support the wood as cracks are present. The full length, unsharpened blade is free of rust and pitting though does show some areas of dark spots. The reverse of the blade presents the open Karl Eickhorn trademark. The scabbard has a pleasing dark age patina that matches the silver surfaces of the hilt. The scabbard displays two dents towards the end of its obverse side and along its lower edge. 213EW1 - G.I. SS Officer Dachau degen souvenir. This Paul Muller officer's degen presents a poorly fitted hilt to it's 31 inches blade. The stepped pommel cap has rough edges further indicating poor assembly. U. S. GIs that liberated the Dachau camp found numerous unassembled degens in the Paul Muller forge and assembles souvenirs for themselves. This is one example. The black wood grip displays a SS runes button with a minor hairline. The 31 blade is mint. The natural leather buffer is intact. There is no indication of this rare tunic being anything other than having worn by the SS. 2012U2 - Allgemeine Untersturmfuhrer featuring Standarte 89 (Innesbruck) collar tab with 3rd Sturm cufftitle. In late 1933 under direction of Adolf Hitler with the intent to undermind the existing government by creating disturbances in the streets and establish a NSDAP and SS presence in Austria, the 89th Standarte for formed. This was initiated as part of the unification program set forth by Adolf Hitler. It was the 89th Standarte that was directly responsible in the "July Putsch" during which the Federal Chancellery in Vienna was stormed and Prime Minister Engelbert Dollfuss was killed. This summer weight black wool tunic displays two pleated upper pockets and two unpleated lower hip pockets. The lower left hip pocket has an internal slit intended for the attachment of a dagger hanger. The four front closure buttons are unmarked whereas the four pocket buttons are marked EXTRA FEIN. On the right shoulder in a sewn-in officer's aluminum board. There is no RZM tag under the board. On the right upper sleeve is the Alter Kampfer chevron. On the upper left sleeve is the SS armband. Below the armband is the machine sewn Sturm 3 cufftitle. The interior is lined with black artificial silk. Inside the left breast pocket is an un-numbered RZM tag. The tunic's exterior is free of mothing and stains and presents in excellent condition. $12,500.  More Photos

2012U1 - Allgemeine SS Obersturmbannfuhrer tailor made tunic with adjutant aiguillette. The black wool tunic features officer machine sewn collar tabs featuring a 7th Standarten ( Plauen) unit collar tab and a rank tab indicating Obersturmbannfuhrer. On the right shoulder is an appropriate officer’s board for the Obersturmbannfuhrer's rank presenting interlacing aluminum braids. Passing under the board and sleeve is an adjutant's aiguillette. These aiguillettes were identical in style to the adjutants aiguillettes worn by the Heer . The SS officers dress aiguillette was a different style having the double runics. On the upper right sleeve is the Alter Kampfer chevron. On the upper left sleeve is the multi-piece constructed armband. Lower on the left sleeve is the cufftitle for the 7th Sturm. The front is closed with four matching Extra Fein marked buttons as are the four pocket buttons. The inside of the left hip pocket has a sewn-in D ring used to suspend the officer’s dolch. The backside of the tunic is double seamed with two waist high belt support buttons. The interior is fully lined with black artificial silk. Tailor label for JOHANNES NENDEL, vorm. Ernst Poellner, ANABERG/ERZGEB. is sewn at the rear collar.. $17,500.  More Photos

2012MAB1 - Cased German Cross in Gold by C.F. Zimmermann marked "20". The cross displays excellent finish in the rays of the sunburst star. The gilt wreath retains 100% of its finish. There is very minor loss of finish to the white background beneath the black enameled swastika that is in perfect condition. The reverse side displays normal loss of its once silver finish. A particularly fine and rare grouping from a former crewman of U-431

2011SO1 - A particularly fine and rare grouping from a former crewman of U-431. U-431, a Type VII C, was commissioned for service April 5, 1941. U-431 was one of the more successful U-Boats during the war having been commanded by two Knights Cross winners; Kptlt. Wilhelm Dommes and Oblt. Dietrich Schoneboom. U-431 was sunk during operations in the Mediterranean Sea on October 21, 1943 while under the command of Oblt. Schoenboom while attached to the 29th Flottilla with the loss of all hands. This impressive grouping consists of a double sided red cloth Bootswimpel of U-431 with the two white crosses and yellow crown of the Freistadt Danzig printed thereon with original tie cords intact, an early tombak U-Boat war badge attributed C.E. Juncker, a tombak enameled traditions badge for U-431 with the reverse side marked GES GESCH, a silver plated cigarette case with enameled emblem for the Free City of Danzig with engraved initials of the original owner, a Kriegsmarine marksman lanyard ( Schutzenschnur) first grade with acorn. No badge was worn attached to the lanyard. A shoulder strap for Verwaltungsfeldwebel ( Bootsman) rank with career insignia for the Administrative Medical branch. An original period photograph removed from a photo album showing the conning tower of U-431 with the City of Danzig emblem prominent. $3850.  More Photos

The blade is in excellent plus plus condtion having a bright mirror finish with only a couple of areas of loss of finish. The reverse upper portion of the blade shows the E. PACK trademark. 209GORGET10 - Air Traffic Administration REICHS-LUFT-AUFICHT gorget by C E JUNCKER, BERLIN. The Civilian Air Traffic Control assisted the Luftwaffe's Technical branch. Units were stationed at each of the Luftwaffe's air fields beginning in 1935. The personnel wore the standard Luftwaffe uniform with dark green waffenfarbe. The gorget features a circled central swastika with an art deco style wing on each side. Beneath the central motif is the title "REICHS-LUFT-AUFSICHT". The reverse side tang is stamped with the maker and etched into the same is "L A. Nbg. 14." I cannot account for the designation. The gorget features a four point sunburst with and iron cross center and superimposed sword. This motif is affixed to a non-magnetic plate. This is flanked on each side by gilt imperial standards on the left and Third Reich standards on the right. This central motif is affixed to a non-magnetic mirror finish plate.
