This Fascist organization was compulsory for all males 12-18 and provided para-military training much like that of the German Hitler Youth. 091ci14 - Kreta Campaign cufftitle. Mint and RBN numbered. This is as perfect an original example you will find. This cufftitle features KRETA embroidered with gold rayon thread on white cotton. The upper and lower borders are Russian braid. On either side of KRETA is the acanthus decorative motif with seven leaves to each side. This rare campaign award was presented to mainly Luftwaffe personnel who participated in the Kreta operation which cost the Fallschirmjager branch such heavy casualties that Hitler ordered no more large scale Fallschirmjager operations. 091ci16 - Matched set of Panzer Grenadier shoulder boards and collar tabs for the 44th Infantry Division. The 44th Infantry Division was destroyed at Stalingrad and subsequently re-formed in early 1943. The newly reconstituted 44th was renamed " Reichsgrenadierdivision Hoch und Deutschmeister" in honor of its participation and sacrifice at Stalingrad. The Stalingrad Cross was worn on the shoulder boards of all division personnel per order published March 23, 1944. The set features the very rare grass-green waffenfarb of panzer grenadier units) and the "Stalingrad-Kreuz". The cross has as its center the Wehrmacht eagle with a scroll beneath it that simply reads "Stalingrad". Very rare $1250. More Photos
