Rare and stunning Luftwaffe presentation bronze by German artist Schmidt-Hofer

- Collectors Connection-Rare and stunning Luftwaffe presentation bronze by German artist Schmidt-Hofer. The brass plate reads "To the Officers and officials of Luftflotten V. ( Air Fleet 5) Regiment 4, Reichenbach, 19.August 1940." Luftflotte V. was based in Denmark and Norway during the Battle of Britain. The Luftflotte was commanded by General Hans Stumpf whose command was responsible for carrying out bombing operations in Northern Britain and the North Sea during the period. This award is on a marble base that measures 5.5 x 4.0 inches. The total height is 15.5 inches. The width is 15.0 inches. The bronze eagle displays excellent detail and is signed by the artist on one of the botton arms of the swastika. The two marble bases are free of chips and cracks. The eagle and base are loose but this could be professionally tightened. Suggested offering price $10,000. More Photos

151POA1 - Rare SS Allach porcelain Oswald Pohl 1942 Julfest Teller ( presentation Christmas Plate ). This white glazed porcelain plate is in perfect condition having a central design of Scheegloeckchen ( Snow Drops) flowers. The Julfest Teller was presented by Oswald Pohl Minister of Reich Economics Administration to favored individuals during the holidays. This rare plate is in mint condtion. The reverse is marked simply with the words, " Julegabe Des SS Verwaltungshauptamtes" (Jul Gift of the SS Economics Administrative Office). On first glance it appears that a national eagle appears on the lid of the inkwell but the design on the top is actually a Sea Serpent. 1412SO3 - Third Reich era commercially produced decorative vase made by Rosenthal. This vase features a NSDAP eagle with a silver glaze along the upper rim and bottom. The fine porcelain vase stands 4.0 inches in height. The is marked on the bottom with the Rosenthal trademark and " FEINSILBER AUFLAGE " ( referring to the silver glaze) . Also marked is "1000/1000 " indicating that the vase was produced as a limited edition. Small chip along the bottom. Very rare. $850. More Photos

137POA1 - Rare Allach Tafelleucther mit vase Kerzig 4 Candelabra #22. This rare candelabra features four candle arms stylized in the Allach fashion. The style was first introduced in 1936 and designed by Franz Nagy. According to known production numbers there were only 86 total of the unpainted white porcelain models produced. This information was provided by Dennis Porell in his authoritative two volume set , " Allach PORCELAIN 1936 - 1945 Volume1, published by Schiffer Publishing LTD., 2010, page 205. This Allach piece is free of chips, cracks and repairs. The bottom displays the Allach double SS runics trademark. Mint. Very rare. $1250. More Photos

SS Julleuchter

1204POA2 - SS Julleuchter made by Porzellan Manufaktor Allach. The SS Yulleuchter (Yule Lantern) was intended to be used by all SS personnel as a replacement article for Christian occasions and to celebrate the days the SS leadership ordained as holidays. The Yulleuchter was to be lit on the Vernal Equinox, Mid-Summer Solstice, Mid-Winter Solstice, Autumnal Equinox and Yol ( the pagan Yuletide intended to replace Christmas). Additionally, certain dates historic to NSDAP events including Hitler's birthday were added. The Yulleuchter is made of plain ceramic earthenware and decorated with a heart and the Nordic rune symbolizing soul on each of the four sides. The Yulleuchter stands about 8 ¼ inches high and measures approximately 4 ½ inches at each of the four sides of the base. As the war progressed Allach was unable to keep up with the production of these pieces and other manufacturers were engaged in the production. Yulleuchters were the most widely produced ceramic and porcelain models made by the firm due to their intended SS holiday use by Waffen SS and Allgemeine personnel. $1250. More Photos

1112POA1 - Adolf Hitler bronze plague. This bronze plaque measures 5.75 x 3.75 inches. The plaque features the likeness of Adolf Hitler in profile. The Artist initials " WH" are beneath the likeness of Hitler. The semi-hollow reverse has a strip of medical tape attached that reads "Bous Germany MARCH 21, 1945". The probable date it was liberated as a G.I.'s souvenir. The reverse also has a soldered hanging hook. $285. More Photos

This stunning desk ornament features a miniature 1st model Luftwaffe officer's sword (fliegerschwert) on an anodized 7.5 inches long metal base in the shape of an aircraft propeller. The sword is finely made having a wire wrapped Luftwaffe blue leather grip. The detail is excellent in the pommel and crossguard. The blade measures about 6.5 inches and has a bright mirror silver finish. The sword is stamped with the Alcoso trademark on the reverse. The blue grained leather scabbard is in excellent condition having no serious distraction.. the sword is affixed to the metal base with two retaining screws. $1250. More Photos

The central theme depicts Hermann Goring's coat-of-arms above the Pour le Merit which Goring was awarded as an ace during WWI after taking command of Manfred v. Richthofen's "Flying Circus". The bone white porcelain features the coat-of-arms in gold leaf. The plate shows a professionally made one inch wedge-shape repair. This does not detract from the overall display of this rare plate. 107POA9 - Imperial German Army "DIE DEUTSCHEN HEERFUHRER' porcelain plate dated 1914. This gold leaf bordered plate measures approximately 13 inches in diameter and displays portraits of Kaiser Wilhelm II along with his general staff as it was in 1914. Along with the Kaiser are portraits of Paul v. Hindenburg, Crown Prince Rupert of Bavaria, v. Bulow, Emmich, v. Beseler, v. Falkenhaun, v. Hausen, the Duke of Wurttemberg, v. Kluck and v. Heeringen on a light blue background. The reverse of the plate shows a minor 1 inch chip along the bottom edge that is not visible from the front. The reverse of the plate is maker marked "PM' indicating Crown Rex Bavaria -Porzellanfabrik Moschendorf. A very fine quality maker of porcelain. Rare. $750. More Photos

This colorful glazed ceramic tile celebrates Weihnachten 1941 in the Feuerscutzpoloizei district incorporating Hannover, Neumunster, Gettorf and Kellinghusen. The polizei wreathed eagle is central in the design. The tile is set in a wood frame. The reverse has a maker's stamp and the number 5. There are no chips or cracks.
