1711SO3 - Near unobtainable two Red Dragon demitasse cups by Meissen removed from the Eagles Nest above Berchtesgaden by a 101st Airborne service member and given to Sergeant Harry Plisevich who participated in both the D-Day invasion and the Battle of the Bulge. Captured at Bastogne after being wounded, Sergeant Plisevich was imprisoned at Stalag 12A. . These fine china porcelain cups are in their original perfect condition. It is easy to imagine who among Adolf Hitler's inner circle actually drunk from these cups including Der Fuhrer himself. The cups are accompanied by a copied image of Sergeant Plisevich and a postcard of the Eagle's Nest that was sent to him along with the cups. $1950. More Photos

Rare and stunning Luftwaffe presentation bronze by German artist Schmidt-Hofer

- Collectors Connection-Rare and stunning Luftwaffe presentation bronze by German artist Schmidt-Hofer. The brass plate reads "To the Officers and officials of Luftflotten V. ( Air Fleet 5) Regiment 4, Reichenbach, 19.August 1940." Luftflotte V. was based in Denmark and Norway during the Battle of Britain. The Luftflotte was commanded by General Hans Stumpf whose command was responsible for carrying out bombing operations in Northern Britain and the North Sea during the period. This award is on a marble base that measures 5.5 x 4.0 inches. The total height is 15.5 inches. The width is 15.0 inches. The bronze eagle displays excellent detail and is signed by the artist on one of the botton arms of the swastika. The two marble bases are free of chips and cracks. The eagle and base are loose but this could be professionally tightened. Suggested offering price $10,000. More Photos

1412SO6 - Rare Kriegsmarine ink well featuring "Sea Serpent " design on top. On first glance it appears that a national eagle appears on the lid of the inkwell but the design on the top is actually a Sea Serpent. The 5.0 inches wide base may indicate that this inkwell was intended for use on a U-Boat or surface vessel. The inkwell measures approximately 3.0 inches in height. Rare. $700. More Photos

1412SO3 - Third Reich era commercially produced decorative vase made by Rosenthal. This vase features a NSDAP eagle with a silver glaze along the upper rim and bottom. The fine porcelain vase stands 4.0 inches in height. The is marked on the bottom with the Rosenthal trademark and " FEINSILBER AUFLAGE " ( referring to the silver glaze) . Also marked is "1000/1000 " indicating that the vase was produced as a limited edition. Small chip along the bottom. Very rare. $850. More Photos
