SS Medals & Badges

188SO11 -SS Totenkopfring ( Honor Ring) of SS officer Wagner dated 21.6.44. This is one of the finest Totenkopfrings ever offered by Oakleaf Militaria. This mint ring displays 100% detail in its skull and runes panels. The skull is so complete the teeth can be counted. The interior is so mint that the seam is not present as the Otto Gahr firm covered this seam with silver solder before it left their Munich location. The runics panels are fully complete including the background stippling and burnish. The dedication inscription is clearly visible with the Slb. Wagner, 21.6.44 date and H. Himmler facsimile signature. The ring presents all the characteristics, including die flaws, of a 1940's style SS Totenkopfring. The size is approximately 11. This outstanding example of the SS Totenkopfring comes with a Don Boyle Certificate of Authenticity. More Photos

Collectors Connection SS Totenkopfring Honor Ring -Totenkopfring Honor Ring awarded to SS officer Obersturmfuhrer Brand dated 20/4/38. Born 15.4.1904, Heinrich Brand joined the SS 17.11.1931 with SS Ausweis number 20653. On 20.4.1937 Brand was promoted to the rank of Untersturmfuhrer and assigned to the staff of II SS-Sturmbann/69. SS Standarte of the Allgemeine SS. On 30.1.1943 Brand was promoted to the rank of Obersturmfuhrer. On 1.06.1944 Obersturmfuhrer was assigned to the 30. SS Standarte of the Allgemeine SS. This SS Totenkopfring shows normal/light wear in the details in the skull and runic panels. The background stippling is also evident in a number of the panels. The ring exhibits die flaw characteristics evident in authentic Totenkopf rings. The joiner seam is apparent beneath the original silver solder on the interior behind the skull. The engraving is typical of what is encountered in a 1940's style ring. This ring is size 13. A very large size. This ring comes with a Don Boyle Certificate of Authenticity. Please see additional information regarding the Collectors Connection section on the Homepage. More Photos

SS Totenkopfring (Honor Ring) awarded to SS officer Koisar dated 21-12-42

145SO7 - SS Totenkopfring (Honor Ring) awarded to SS officer Heinrich Koisar dated 21-12-42. This mint but cleaned ring is one of the finest examples of a Totenkopfring ever offered by Oakleaf Militaria. This ring displays exceptional detail with no signs of wear in the various runics panels, skull , repeating oak leaves pattern and interior engraving. The ring is so pristine you can count the individual teeth which usually display wear. The ring displays all the required characteristics of a 1940's style ring. The joiner seam is clearly visible behind the separately attached soldered skull. This ring is a medium size that I would estimate to be a size 10. Heinrich Koisar, SS Ausweiss # 197501, was born in 1914 and entered the SS in 1933 and in 1934 was assigned to the Leibstandarte Adolf Hitler and attached to the SS- Verfugungstruppe. Attending SS training schools Juterbog - Waffenschule der Artillerie and SS-Junckerschule Braunschweig, Heinrich Koisar returned to LSSAH where he served as an artillery officer. Promoted to Obersturmfuhrer on 21.6.41 and assigned as Batteriefuhrer, 5./Artillerie Regiment LSSAH , he was wounded on 2.20.43 and succumbed to his wounds on 26.2.43 while serving in Russia. Please see the accompanying research materials provided by Robert McDivitt for further details. The ring comes with a Certificate of Authenticity from Don Boyle who has rated this ring as mint but cleaned. Don Boyle is author of "SS Totenkopfring H. Himmler Honor Ring 1933-1945 ", published by IMAGE GRAPHICS , INC. 1993,1994, 1995.Copyright Don Boyle. A textbook mint Totenkopfring. More Photos

SS Totenkopfring ( Honor Ring ) dated 1943

1312SO2 - SS Totenkopfring ( Honor Ring ) dated 1943. This ring displays heavy period wear but the Otto Gahr craftsmanship is still apparent in the skull and the hand-tooling. There still remains traces of the oak leaf design. The joiner seam is clearly visible behind the skull. The ring was period re-sized as there is a second seam indicating so. It was common for Waffen SS Totenkopfring recipients to resize rings rather than risk losing them. There are traces of the Slb. dedication, 43 date and H. Himmler on the interior. The SS officer recipient's name is not visible due to wear. The ring is a size 9.5 ( medium ). The ring comes with a Certificate of Authenticity provided by Don Boyle. More Photos
