095FE17 - Armored vehicle (panzer) headset with rubberized earphones. The rubberized earphones were added to the standard headsets to keep out the noise that permeated the inside of armored vehicles. The section that secured the headset over the top of the head was padded to add further protection inside the vehicle. 095FE14 - Luftwaffe field radio model K32 GWB serial number 5757 by Siemens. This olive drab painted portable radio features yellow stenciled Luftwaffe eagle on each of the two fold-out doors that expose the speaker, four bakelite control knobs and the frequency display. The display allows for tuning to various frequencies for different German occupied cities and countries. This radio measures approximately 17 1/2x 7 ¾ x 12 inches. It is constructed of hardwood wood and has metal corner protection added. It has a plug-in socket for an electrical cord on the top adjacent to the carrying handle. The backside of the radio has a large stenciled Luftwaffe eagle. This radio was issued to Luftwaffe units for the purpose of listening to radio broadcasts which the troops were always anxious for. 095FE10 - Luftwaffe AK39 flight wrist compass. Worn by Luftwaffe aircrew personnel, the compass was used after ditching the aircraft or bailing out. This compass features a bakelite base with a clear plastic cover. The magnetic internal components still function indicating the various 360 degrees. 095FE7 - Army Gebirgjager (mountain troop) boots. These very rare boots feature brown leather uppers that show age and wear darkening. The soles are constructed with cleats that lend strength and support for vigorous mountain use. There is a strip of cloth around the top edge of each boot that was intended to give protection and prevent rubbing to the heel area. 095FE1 - Army M1938 gasmask. This gasmask was the model most frequently issued to panzer vehicles and worn by crew members. The mask features a brown cloth hose-tube. The size was stamped between the two lenses. The mask came in three sizes. The medium size "2" is stamped. The breathing attachment piece is painted field gray green. The interior is lined with suede and has an adjustable chin strap. The crown is fitted with elastized belts. The buckles, clips, rivets and rings show varying degrees of oxidation. The leather is mostly supple with no breaks. The reverse of one of the two larger belts features the RBN number. 0811FE1 - SS tornister (backpack). This rare SS item of field equipment features a tan canvas covering trimmed with black leather. The side that rests against the back is covered with horsehair. Along the leather that runs along the upper backside are the RZM numbers and SS stamps. The pack is dated "39" The interior in lined with matching tan canvas and has internal flaps for separating sections within the pack. There is also a factory applied, machine stitched RZM tag identifying the pack as SS. 089FE6 - 2.2. liter oil can for panzer vehicle dated 1940. This heavy aluminum can features a tag indicating that the contents were for use with panzers. Neat. Also on the tag is the manufacturer's name and location. A separate brass plate announces 2.2L OEL (OIL). It's hard to find any equipment that directly ties into "panzers". Rare. $500. More Photos |

089GFE4 - SS RZM high leather boots named to Hans Mohr of the 1st Battalion/ Germania. These early tall boots feature standard boot construction with adjusting buckled straps at the top. The soles show matching wear and have hobnails along the outer sole. The front has a steel cleat as does each heel. The on the instep of each boot there are two stamped circles that under close examination reveal an RZM stamp and SS runes stamp. The inside of the boots is where they get "historical". Each boot has a bevo SS RZM cloth tag showing age darkening and wear. Inside each boot are two boot straps for pulling. Each of these boot straps has the original owner's name "Hans Mohr" and his unit "I/SS 2" ( 1st Battalion SS Germania). $2850. More Photos |

089GFE1 - Set of 3 Army signals backpacks (Fernsprechtornister). Carried by three man signals teams, these horsehair covered backpacks prominently feature in Arabic numerals the numbers "1" , "2" and "3" on the outward facing side cut into heavy saddle leather. These packs feature heavy canvas sides that fold down revealing the contents on the interior compartment for easy field use. The maker of pack #1 is unidentifiable as the stamp has worn with age. Under the maker's stamp is a waffenamt and the date 1938. The exterior is covered in horsehair with heavy saddle leather belting and fixtures to hold and secure signals equipment. The interior has aluminum compartments for separating the equipment held inside the pack as well as an interior pocket secured by straps. The pack shows normal, light use. The exterior is in very good condition showing mild wear to the leather areas. Pack number "2" is in very good condition externally being covered in brown horsehair. It is maker marked "Wilh. Brand Heidelburg 1937" over a waffenamt stamp. The interior shows damage to three areas of the canvas and one corner of the wood frame. The maker of pack #3 is identified as Gebruder Klinge Dresden and dated 1939 which is stamped on the leather trim along the upper back. The pack is secured with heavy leather straps. The pack has field gray canvas that folds out revealing the several compartments that held cable reels and other radio equipment. The heavy shoulder straps were supplied by two different manufacturers. Klinge for one and the other is stamped Georg A. Lerch Berlin (1939). The interior compartments are segregated by aluminum dividers. $1,350. More Photos |

089GFE2 - SA backpack (tornister). This horsehair covered backpack shows the maker as FRANZ BREHME WALSRODE 1939 stamped along the leather upper back. The pack opens revealing a prominent SA RZM tag. The interior is segregated into compartments secured by leather straps. The shoulder straps are dyed black along the outward facing leather and retain the brown dye on the reverse side. 089GFE3 - NSKK backpack (tornister). This backpack features gray heavy canvas on the outward facing side trimmed with brown leather with brown leather straps. The reverse side that rests on the back is covered with horsehair. Along the upper back side between the two shoulder straps is a RZM stamp along with the maker's code L3/160/37 The pack opens to reveal gray canvas pockets secured by black dyed leather straps. 084fe3 - Rifle cleaning kit M34. The kit is comprised of a thin metal case with up and lower hinged lids retained by fastening clips. The case holds a chain, brush, string, cleaning cloth oiler and cleaning devise. One of the exterior lids is stamped arr 43 and the inside of the lid is waffenamt marked and coded WaA57. The exterior of the case shows one area of oxidation near the area of the hinge. $40. More Photos |
